Our History

Williams Furniture Repair was founded in 1964, by Bill and Thelma Williams. Bill started with Davison's Department Store (now known as Macy's) matching finishes and repairing new furniture that was damaged from shipping. Thelma was raised in the furniture repair business; her father was an upholsterer.

For forty-five years our family has serviced the metro Atlanta area and beyond. Our philosophy is simple: do the best that you can and if you're happy with the job, your customer will be happy with the job.

Though Bill and Thelma retired in 2001, our family has continued the business. Today Nathan, Valerie and Niles Williams continue to provide exceptional quality and craftsmanship restoring and repairing fine furniture to our customers in metro Atlanta and beyond.

What We Do

Williams Furniture Repair does everything from re-gluing your kitchen chair to fine antique restoration. We do full refinishing and partial refinishing on pieces where the finish is aged or ruined. We provide caning, weaving and rush on seats and backs for chairs.

Parts duplication and veneer repair are also services at our shop. On-site touch-up is provided to residential and commercial applications. Call us today at 770-938-8774 for a consultation.
